It looks like this week will be mainly weekly and monthly shows: Red Hots Burlesque, First Friday Follies, Burlesque n' Brass, and the Hubba Hubba Revue Uptown show. If you've never been to see these shows, especially the ones in Oakland, this is a good week to catch them. Each show has its own unique vibe, and you'll be able to see some of the Bay Area's best bars and clubs, too!

- Friday, September 3: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco, 3158 Mission Street. Ruby Vixen hosts Alotta Boutté, Francine Dead, Kitty Von Quimm, Ruby Vixen and an RHB debut from Baxtalo Drom's Sister Kate! Show at 7:30pm. $5-10, sliding scale. 21+ w/ID.
- Also Friday: First Friday Follies at the Stork Club in Oakland, 2330 Telegraph Avenue. Catch this free monthly show at Oakland's Stork Club following the Oakland Art Murmur. This month's show will be hosted by Juicy D. Light and Cupcake, and will feature Kitty Von Quim, Lady Monster, Bella Trixx, Mugg Muggles, Ophelia Coeur de Noir, Vivi Ennui, and Matt Holdaway's Army. 9pm. No cover, but donations warmly encouraged. 21+ w/ID.
- Saturday, September 4: Burlesque n' Brass at Cafe Van Kleef in Oakland, 1621 Telegraph Avenue. Join the Hot Pink Feathers and Blue Bone Express at Oakland's Cafe Van Kleef for sets and sets of not only live, but exceedingly lively music and dance! Doors at 8:30pm, show at 9:30. $10, 21+ w/ID.
- Monday, September 6: Uptown Hubba Hubba at the Uptown in Oakland, 1928 Telegraph Avenue. It's a Labor Day kind of show! Celebrate with your old friends Kingfish and Eddie as they welcome Miss Scarlet from Austin and Vivi Ennui from Reno! Also featuring Sparkly Devil, Monifa, Ophelia Coeur de Noir, Lady Bug & Crow, Red Velvet, Zip the What-Is-It? With music by The Reinhardt-Ons! And special guest, Filthy Frank! Doors at 9pm, show at 10:15. $5, 21+ w/ID.
