Starting off the evening, Red Hots Burlesque offers up some early evening entertainment at the "Best Happy Hour" in the Bay Area according to this year's San Francisco Bay Guardian's Best of the Bay poll. I've been there, and it is indeed a wonderful way to unwind from the stresses of the week. And there will be burlesque! How perfect is that?
Red Hots Burlesque continues to ensure quality entertainment at El Rio every week as promised. And this week we have one of our favorite guest hosts, RUBY VIXEN, brings you an evening of devine debauchery ! SF's **ONLY** weekly burlesque show provides bumps, grinds, and giggles galore.
Our show also includes a screening of filthy and freaky film footage and tortuous tunage from Alex BIG Cox. Grab a drink, some *free* Oysters and BBQ at El Rio's famous happy hour ( voted "THE BEST OF THE BAY" by the SF Weekly) and watch us twitch and twatch!

Over in Oakland, First Friday Follies finishes off the monthly Oakland Art Murmur, which is the city's art walk. You can browse the galleries which are open late, enjoy some of the food available at the restaurants and street vendors, then head over to the Stork Club for a show hosted by the founder of Rubenesque Burlesque, Juicy D. Light, and FFF's very own Cupcake!
They have a great lineup this month, so make sure you get there early to get a good spot from which to watch the show. And don't forget to donate a few dollars for all the fantastic entertainment. First Friday Follies IS community-supported giggles and jiggles!
