The Hubba Hubba Revue keeps things rolling on Friday with a special Oakland show at the Uptown! It seems to be a 1930s theme going on, and it will feature some of your favorite performers as well as music from The Gomorran Social Aid & Pleasure Club!
This week also marks the last Kentucky Fried Woman Show. After 13 shows, she's calling it quite. But not before assembling one of the most amazing shows ever! You won't want to miss it this coming Saturday, May 1, at Velvet in Oakland. All proceeds will go to supporting two summer Oakland events, NOLOSE & FemmeCon 2010.

- Wednesday, April 28: Bombshell Betty's Bombshell Betty's Burlesque Bailout at the Glas Kat in San Francisco, 520 4th Street. This will be Bombshell Betty's 5th bailout show. So far, with the help of MANY performers, her students, Fromagique, Whole Foods, and many more, she has donated almost $6,000.00 to struggling performers in the Bay Area. This show will feature performances by Bombshell Betty, Red Velvet, Lezzie McFaggerson, Fina Fatale, Tiger von Claus, Loreley, Go-Go Bananas, Tasty Temptress, If-N-Whendy, Venomous Veronica Voom, Sultra Violet, Foxy Chartreuse, and Mistress Marla Spanks! With your host Odessa Lil and pick-up kitten, Chalupa X. Musical performances by Fromagique! Doors at 8pm, show at 8:30. $10, 21+ w/ID.
- Friday, April 30: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco, 3158 Mission Street. Celebrate spring with Red Hots Burlesque! This week, join Dottie Lux in welcoming to the El Rio stage Chan Dynasty, Bitter Waitress, The Dishrag Dollies, Pollo Del Mar, and from Reno, Viviennui! The show also includes a performance from Dottie herself! Show at 7:30pm. $5-10, sliding scale. 21+ w/ID.
- Also Friday: Hubba Hubba Revue: Special Edition! at the Uptown Club in Oakland, 1928 Telegraph Avenue. Check out this special weekend edition of the Hubba Hubba Revue in the East Bay! Head all the way back to 20th century America with Casey Castille, Juicy D. Light, Bunny Pistol, Honey Lawless, Mynx d'Meanor, Miss Balla Fire, Zip the What-Is-It?!, Agent Kingfish & Junior G-Man Eddie, & The Hubba Hubba Go-Go Dancers! With guest dare-devil, Molotov! And music from The Gomorran Social Aid & Pleasure Club! Doors at 9pm, show at 10. $10, 21+ w/ID.
- Saturday, May 1: Kentucky Fried Woman Show Last Call: The Very Best of the Kentucky Fried Woman Show at Velvet in Oakland, 3411 MacArthur Blvd. After 18 monthly shows, the KFW Show finished its run. Join Kentucky Fried Woman for all of her favorite acts. An all-star lineup! Here's a partial list of performers: Starr69, Dottie Lux, Ruby Vixen, Rusty Hips, Jake Danger, Alotta Boutté, Zelda du Jour, Brock Cocker, Savory Sweet, Kitty von Quim, Drew Montana, Lance Armstar, and Momma's Boyz.
