Nomy Lamm is a singer, accordion player, performance artist and vocal coach. Her band, nomy lamm & THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD, is a flexible platform for collaboration with everyone and everything, including other musicians, visual artists, puppeteers, poets, spectators, and the moon. She performs regularly with Sins Invalid, creating musical dreamworld performance art about disability, sexuality and social justice. She has toured with Sister Spit and the Sex Workers Art Show, co-created the post-apocalyptic genderqueer rock opera "The Transfused," and last summer had the honor of touring the country with the illustrious unicorn chantreuse, DavEnd. This week's Friday Red Hots Burlesque show on July 15 will be taken over by the Sin Sisters of Santa Cruz! That's right, Miss Balla Fire, Rizzo Rogue, Babraham Lincoln and Dorian Faust will be joining host Virginia Suicide for a sizzling show that will set your soul on fire!

This Monday evening, the Hubba Hubba Revue returns to the home of their weekly Monday night show in Oakland, the Uptown Club!

Scotty the Blue Bunny performs at Red Hots Burlesque this week

If you haven't heard the news yet, Red Hots Burlesque has expanded their weekly show to Wednesday and Friday evenings. So you'll have two times the hot and spicy burlesque at San Francisco's El Rio per week!

Both of this week's shows will feature Scotty the Blue Bunny! This burlesque icon has been on stages all over the world entertaining fans for years now. What's so special about the Bunny? Watch this video uploaded to YouTube by Deidre Timmons of "A Wink and a Smile" fame, and see for yourself!

First Friday Folllies presents The Sin Sisters this Friday, March 4

Sin Sisters Burlesque of Santa Cruz will be featured at the next First Friday Follies at the Stork Club in Oakland!

The Sin Sisters have their own shows in Santa Cruz, but there's no need to drive over the mountains to see them! Just head over to Oakland this Friday, and you can see their show for free! They'll also have special guests Alotta Boutté and Ms. Cherry Galette! Plus hear the music of Matt Holdaway's Army!

The show is near the end of the Oakland Art Murmur, which is an art walk through the Uptown in which many art galleries are open late. If you've never been, it's a fun experience where people of all ages and backgrounds gather to enjoy the galleries and associated experiences. So head out early and check out some art before heading over to the Stork Club. See the listing and a map of galleries participating at oaklandartmurmur.com.

The Stork Club is located at 2330 Telegraph Avenue (map). To get a good spot, get there early at around 9:00 p.m. The start time is scheduled to be 9:30. To get into the club and past the doorman, you must be 21 or older.

Sin Sisters Burlesque in Santa Cruz! This Friday, December 10

For all of you burlesque fans in Santa Cruz, the Sin Sisters are bringing a burlesque show to you this Friday night at the Church House!

Madam Chartreuse, Miss Balla Fire, and the rest of the Sisters will be present to entertain you. It will be sin and salvation at the Church House, which is located at 429 Pennsylvania Avenue (map) in Santa Cruz.

In addition, the show will feature some special guests, including Patty Cakes Delicious, Fina Fatale, Tasty Temptress, and Dorian Faust of New Orleans!

A donation of $10 is requested at the door, and you must be 21 or older to attend the show. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m., and the show will start at 8:00.
