Zero Boy and showtunes at Red Hots Burlesque this week at El Rio

This week, Zero Boy visits from New York and Leigh Crow hosts a showtunes evening at Red Hots Burlesque!

Tonight, see the East Village icon, entertainer and "vocal cartoonist" Zero Boy! Also performing will be Simply Gibson, Eva D'Luscious, Rizzo Rogue, Laika Fox, and the debut of Whiskey Ginger! And your host will be RHBs own Dottie Lux!

On Friday evening, it'll be an all showtunes evening with host Leigh Crow! Starring will be Dottie Lux, Dorian Faust, Alotta Boutté, Seattle's Sailor St. Claire, Sid Scenic, Pickles Kintaro, and Kitty Von Quim!

Both shows are at El Rio, which is at 3158 Mission Street in San Francisco (map). Both shows start at 7:30 p.m. Entry to each show is on a sliding scale from $5.00 to $10.00.

About our featured performer:
Since her start wowing crowds while performing neo-burlesque with Harlem Shake Burlesque, Alotta's performance and presence know no bounds. Alotta has graced stages from Helsinki Burlesque Fest, Hootchy Kootchy Klub in Stockholm, Margaret Cho's Sensuous Woman, San Francisco's Supperclub, Tease-O-Rama, and The Exotic World Museum's Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekends. You can catch her in the pages of the May 2011 issue of Curve Magazine, and Leonard Nimoy's Full Body Project. She is also honored to be a part of the cast of the world's longest running musical revue; Beach Blanket Babylon based right here in San Francisco.
