This Monday evening at the Uptown Club in Oakland, the Hubba Hubba Revue will be host to Beyond Burlesque (pictured)! The troupe will be performing an entire set!Also performing on Monday will be Lady X of the Mischievious Maidens, Nicki Sparx, Pearl E. Gates, and Charley Gauxdown! Your hosts will be Kingfish and comedian Kevin Hancock.
The Uptown Club is located at 1928 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland (map). Doors open at 9:00 p.m., and the show starts 10:15 p.m. It's just $5.00 for entry into the show! But you may want to bring extra funds for the tip jar or for drinks.
Parking advisory: There will be a premiere of the film "Moneyball" with Brad Pitt, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Jonah Hill at the Paramount Theatre earlier in the evening, so there will probably be a lot of fans, media, security, and traffic in the area. The screening starts at 6:00 p.m., so much of the crowd may be gone by the time the doors open, but there may still be some residual traffic hanging around later in the evening. So there may not be as many open parking spaces as usual.
