Celebrate Boxing Day 2011 with the Hubba Hubba Revue tonight in Oakland

It's the day that's bigger than Christmas and New Year's combined! Well, not really here in America, but it's a day that's celebrated in the Commonwealth counties which originated in the United Kingdom when the wealthy gave a box of gifts to their servants. Thank you Wikipedia!

Tonight at the Uptown Club in Oakland, the Hubba Hubba Revue will be encouraging you to celebrate Boxing Day by watching sexy burlesque performers dance and drinking sexy drinks served by sexy bartenders—and tipping both groups generously!

The Uptown Club is located at 1928 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland (map), which is very close to the 19th Street Oakland BART station. The doors will open at 9:00 p.m., and the show gets underway at 10:15. Plus it's still only $5.00 to get in!

Molotov performs at Séduction Féroce in Oakland tonight, Tuesday, October 11

Tonight at the Era Art Bar and Lounge in Oakland, see sideshow performer Molotov (pictured) as he swallows swords, throw knives around his assistant, or otherwise engages in other exciting and dangerous thrilling stunts!

A frequent performer at burlesque shows, Molotov is one of the acts who puts "variety" into variety show. You never know what he'll do, but odds are it will involve sharp edges!

Those who will be stripteasing for your pleasure tonight will include ecdysiasts such as Francine Mean (aka Francine Dead), Fromagique's Randy Johnson, Miss Mae Western, and others! See the full lineup below. The show will be hosted by Juicy D. Light of First Friday Folllies.

The doors open at 8:00 p.m., and the show will start at 9:00. Era Art Bar and Lounge is located at 19 Grand Avenue in Oakland (map). The cover is $5.00.

Séduction Féroce is a burlesque cabaret variety show that happens EVERY second Tuesday of the month! Doors open at 8pm and show starts at 9pm. Scotty the Blue Bunny performs at Red Hots Burlesque this week

If you haven't heard the news yet, Red Hots Burlesque has expanded their weekly show to Wednesday and Friday evenings. So you'll have two times the hot and spicy burlesque at San Francisco's El Rio per week!

Both of this week's shows will feature Scotty the Blue Bunny! This burlesque icon has been on stages all over the world entertaining fans for years now. What's so special about the Bunny? Watch this video uploaded to YouTube by Deidre Timmons of "A Wink and a Smile" fame, and see for yourself!
