Red Hots Burlesque this Friday, and RHB School of Shimmy

This Friday at El Rio in San Francisco, Red Hots Burlesque will welcome back Chicago burlesque star Lola Martinet. The show will also feature a debut performance by new Bay Area resident Lola Dean, plus more! Everything starts at 7:30 p.m., and there's usually a good crowd there, so arrive early for a good seat!

Also, the Red Hots Burlesque School of Shimmy will be having a workshop/rehearsal for performers on Tuesday, November 9, at El Rio. If you have an act for which you would like some feedback from fellow performers and Dottie Lux, or if you would like to use the El Rio stage to rehearse, this is a great opportunity! It's pay-what-you-can, anywhere between $5 and $30.

For more information, please visit redhotsburlesque.com, or email Dottie at redhotsburlesque@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Red Hots Burlesque brings you bumps grinds and giggles galore and this week we welcome back Lola Martinet from Chicago. You may recall the last time she was at RHB she had the world's only remote control spinning tassels! We can only guess what's up next! But that's not all...we also have a debut from Lola Dean and a SOLO debut from Jay Walker. RHB is sure not to be missed this week!

Our show also includes a screening of filthy and freaky film footage and tortuous tunage from Alex BIG Cox. Grab a drink, some *free* Oysters and BBQ at El Rio's famous happy hour ( voted "THE BEST OF THE BAY" by the SF Weekly) and watch us twitch and twatch!

This Friday , Nov 5th at El Rio
3158 Mission Street
The Show starts at 7:30pm! So don't be late!
$5-$10 sliding scale, 21+

Our cast this week includes:
Dottie Lux
Bitter Waitress
Lola Dean
Jay Walker
The Empress
Lola Martinet and More!

About our debut performers:
Jay Walker choreographed the majority of his fag-drag repertoire while lip-syncing to Prince and Wham! at slumber parties. A devoted CHUBB chaser and life-long connoisseur of bedazzled man-thongs, Jay Walker also enjoys eyeliner, hip thrusts, and people who are really smart.

From the flatlands of the Southern Delta, Lola Dean comes to the stage with sassy, nasty, white-trashy spirit. With her luscious lips and dirty hips, she'll get you hotter than Georgia asphalt on the 4th of July. A recent transplant of Brooklyn to San Francisco, Lola Dean has trained with the lovely ladies at the New York School of Burlesque and performed in iconic places like The Slipper Room and the Historic Stonewall Inn. She is a founding member of the Baconettes, a group of burlesque performers committed to anti racist and body positive performance. When not on stage, she can be found in daisy dukes and cowboy boots, winning the hearts and souls of small-town queers everywhere. Ladies, gentlemen, and all queer-kin, tip your hats to red-headed big bottom burlesque!
