San Francisco Bay Area burlesque for the week of November 30 to December 6, 2011

It's quite a busy week, with all the shopping to do in addition to all of the shows happening.

Red Hots Burlesque has their two shows plus their Go Deep wrestling/burlesque happening on Thursday evening. They've got two visiting performers and two monthly featured performers this week at RHB. And Francine Dead will be one of the wrestlers at Go Deep! All of their shows are at El Rio in San Francisco.

First Friday Follies gets into the holiday swing of things with their show, A Few of My Favorite Things, at Oakland's Stork Club,

sASSy's Seaside Burlesque on Friday will be hosted by Kingfish of the Hubba Hubba Revue. It's a great free show on the coast at Winters Tavern in Pacifica.

On Saturday, the Sin Sisters will have their tribute to Tom Waits at the Catalyst Club in Santa Cruz. If you're a Tom Waits fan, you won't want to miss this show.

And on Sunday, Kentucky Fried Woman will remember many of the celebrities and social justice activists who have passed away this year. The show will provide a chance to say goodbye in a fun and uplifting way.

So if you need a break from all of the shopping online and at the stores, remember to catch some shows!

• Wednesday, November 30: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco, 3158 Mission Street (map). Come with your sense of humor, get ready to enter the pink bubble. Red Hots Burlesque brings you the "city's best" bump and grind at the "happiest hour" in the bay and newly noted "#3 burlesque show in the country to take your girl to"! • Thursday, December 1: Red Hots Burlesque and El Rio present Go Deep: Let's Wrestle at El Rio in San Francisco, 3158 Mission Street (map). Red Hots Burlesque SF's Best Bump and Grind have been conspiring with your friends at El Rio to bring you an all girl monthly lube wrestling party. No one can resist hot babes covered in glistening sex slick writhing and wriggling in attempts of pinning each other. You can come and watch or be a part of the action. • Also Friday: sASSy's Seaside Burlesque at Winters Tavern in Pacifica, 1522 Francisco Boulevard (map). It is time to shake and shimmy in the beautiful seaside town of Pacifica! Heating up your winter by bringing you some Seaside favorites and maybe a holiday classic or two. It will be the hottest thing in Pacifica! A tribute to the brilliance and wisdom of our Patron Saint of Ecdysiasts Extraordinaire! The lovely ladies will tantalize and delight swaying their hips to the voice of the incomparable and undeniable Tom Waits! Featuring performances by Casey Castille and Vaudie Va Boom! And Sin Sisters Madam Chartreuse, Babraham Lincoln, Dorian Faust, Patty Cakes, Rizzo Rogue, Balla Fire, and Cyanide Cyn! • Sunday, December 4: Kentucky Fried Woman's 2011 Celebrity Memorial Show at Bench and Bar in Oakland, 510 17th Street (map). 2011 has seen the passing of some amazing celebrities and social justice activists! Come join us at Bench & Bar on Sunday, December 4th as we say goodbye to them! This will be a sweet, funny and uplifting show with an amazing cast featuring some of the best queer drag, burlesque and cabaret performers the San Francisco Bay Area has to offer! Featuring Brock Cocker, Juicy D. Light, Honey Lawless, Kitty Von Quim, Sugar Magnolia, Broadway Betty, The Lovesax Sisters, and Hickie from Kenickie (featuring: Penny Whistle, Cherry Poppins, Sugarbush Lane, Lotta Hollandaise, Nefarious Vulvaleen & MuLotta TaTas)! Say, maybe that's why the beauties at Hubba Hubba Revue keep tearing off their wrappings! Start off your week with hosts Kingfish and Kevin Hancock and an entertaining burlesque and variety show in Oakland. This week's show features Lucky Deluxe (Los Angeles), Mistress Pon-Farr. Ada Lavender, Tasty Temptress, Bellydancer Lisa Hyde, and introducing, Bella Mia! Plus special musical guests, McPuzo & Trotsky! Doors at 9pm, show at 10:15pm. $5. 21+.
