San Francisco Bay Area burlesque for the week of November 3 to 9, 2011

The next week in SF Bay Area burlesque is filled with Muppets, Saturday morning cartoon interstitial programming, and athletes.

On Friday, First Friday Follies will be presenting their School House Rawk show at the Stork Club in Oakland. It'll be a celebration of those short, educational, and musical films that aired on Saturday mornings on ABC. The First Friday shows are free, so it'll be an affordable and fun show for those who grew up learning about English, math, and even politics with those songs.

Sunday's Kentucky Fried Woman Show at the Bench and Bar in Oakland will be a celebration of the Muppets! See burlesque performers pay tribute to their favorite Muppets including Bert, Cookie Monster, Miss Piggy, and Kermit!

On Tuesday, Bombshell Betty and Fromagique will be paying tribute to all kinds of sports! It doesn't matter if you know a lot about sports, you'll feel like you scored a touchdown, home run, or goal at this show, which will be at the Elbo Room in San Francisco.

And there will also be the weekly shows from Red Hots Burlesque and the Hubba Hubba Revue, as well as the monthly Séduction Féroce show and the Sin Sisters Burlesque show on Saturday in Santa Cruz. Enjoy!
