On Wednesday and Friday evenings, Red Hots Burlesque is happening at El Rio. Dorian Faust will be September's new RHB Feature Performer, and she'll be performing on Friday. Uni and Her Ukelele will be performing on Wednesday as she concludes her reign as August's Feature Performer. Full talent lineups for both shows are below.
Both shows start at 7:30 p.m. at El Rio in San Francisco, which is at 3158 Mission Street (map).

About our first time performers (and there are MANY)
Bugs In Costumes
is a San Francisco-based acoustic quartet characterized by our theatrical costumes and adult humor. We are a folk-comedy band with punk/jazz/rap influences that borders on performance art/musical theater. We swap instruments from song to song, including ukulele, upright bass, mandolin, fiddle, guitar, kazoo, and various percussion. We enjoy the contrast of raunchy, dark, vulnerable, and intimate subjects against pretty 3 part harmonies and absurdly silly costumes. We have a solid hour-long set of original songs which we perform in bars, cafes, and small venues. Larger theater spaces allow us to feature our dance, acting, gymnastics, and aerial dance backgrounds. Given the space and the rigging, we can hang from the ceiling and string our songs together with dance and storytelling.
Trixie Malicious
is an experienced and professional Bump n' Grind Burlesque & Go Go dancer, sought after by clubs and events internationally. With her signature blend of kitsch, glamour, and B-Movie humour she has been dubbed a modern-day Russ Meyers girl- big, blonde and not afraid to be silly or imperfect as long as her cartoonish shows entertain! Since beginning her career in Vancouver, Canada she has gone on to perform and tour all over the world (in clubs, theatres, and at major festivals) and frequently performs not only in England since she has made London her home but also regularly in Italy, Norway, Spain, Germany, France, Croatia & the Netherlands. She has been one of the featured performers in the London and Rome Burlesque festivals since their inaugurations and she has performed in many other major international festivals including Latitude (England), The Big Chill (England), Screamin' (Spain), Tear It Up (Croatia), Primitive (Netherlands), Funtastic Dracula Carnival (Spain) and many more. She is a member of Burly-Q (a burlesque collective specializing in comedic and surreal entertainment) and she has been an opening act and go go dancer for countless bands. Trixie's various other endeavours include pin-up modelling for What Katie Did Lingerie, Comedy writing and performance, and she is the Resident Dancer at London's infamous Grind-a-Go-Go & Shore Leave clubnights as well as at The Bethnal Green Working Mans Club in London famous for its cutting edge entertainment.
Casey Castille
's life is not remarkable. What makes a life remarkable is how the person employed by that life responds to the challenges it presents. It wasn't always the case, but Casey considers herself a zealous optimist. She believes we are all gifted, talented and able to benefit from our adversities as we learn to overcome them; to use them as footholds to rise to the next challenge, and ultimately scale the mountain of life.
