Fishnet Follies fall classes are starting up this week in Oakland

Fall Fishnet Follies School of Classic Burlesque classes are starting up this week at Bay Functional Fitness in Oakland!

Their "Burlesque Level 2: Art of the Sophisticated Striptease" class starts on Tuesday, August 23. It will be a six-week class which will focus on helping students to create stage-ready solo acts. The class starts at 7:40 p.m. and lasts one hour. Cost for early registration is $90.00. Drop-ins are $20.00 per class, cash only.

"Burlesque Workshop: Sexy Glove and Stockings" begins on Wednesday, August 24. This will be a two-week workshop, and students will need to bring their own gloves and stockings, and perhaps an optional garter belt. Workshops start at 7:40 p.m. and last one hour. Workshop will be led by Mynx d'Meanor. Cost for early registration is $30.00. Drop-ins are $20.00 per class, cash only.

"Burlesque Shine and Chorus Girl Choreography" will start on Wednesday, September 7. The four-week class will give an overview of crafting solo acts as well as teach students a group number. The class starts at 7:40 p.m. and lasts one hour. Class will be led by Mynx d'Meanor. Early registration is $60.00. Drop-ins are $20.00 per class, cash only.
