This Friday, there's quite a few burlesque shows in the greater San Francisco Bay Area from which to choose. There will be shows in San Francisco, Oakland, and Sebastopol!

In San Francisco, the evening will start off with Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio. Cherry Poppins will be making her RHB debut!

Red Hots Burlesque continues to ensure quality entertainment at El Rio every week as promised.We are very lucky to have a Red Hots debut from Cherry Poppins this week and just like every week, SF's **ONLY** weekly burlesque show provides bumps, grinds, and giggles galore.

Performances from Dottie Lux, Ruby Vixen, Cherry Poppins, Ophelia Coure Noir, & Delilah. In addition to this eyepopping line-up we also half a sister on loan from the Scenic Sisters. SID SCENIC joins our cast once again, welcome her back in STYLE!

The Show also includes a screening of filthy and freaky film footage and tortuous tunage from Alex BIG Cox. Grab a drink, some *free* Oysters and BBQ at El Rio's famous happy hour ( voted "THE BEST OF THE BAY" by the SF Weekly) and watch us twitch and twatch!

About our debut performers:
Cherry Poppins is a radical queer femme artist, performer, writer, and organizer. She just moved to the Bay Area from Austin, TX, where she spent 7 years producing a drag/queer burlesque troupe, co-founding a radical queerleading squad, launching the Austin chapter of the Femme Mafia, building community, making zines, and organizing events (she's keeping herself busy here in the Bay, as well). She's committed to anti-racism, social justice, and building consent-based cultures. She crafts like it's going out of style, journals obsessively, and leaves a trail of glitter in her wake.

After Red Hots, the Hubba Hubba Revue will be staging their "Fairytales!" show over at the DNA Lounge. This is their "Big Show" that usually happens on the third Friday of the month, but it's this Friday due to club's scheduling scheduling processes. Or something like that. Heh.

This show will feature Marianne Cheesecake from London, and Fever Blister and Josie Bunnie from Los Angeles. Plus, see Bombshell Betty as Little Red Riding Hood! (See the flier below!)

Over across the Bay in Oakland, First Friday Follies will be happening at the Stork Club at the same time as the Hubba Hubba Revue show. It'll be a Prince tribute night, and dancers will perform to the music of Prince and there will be Prince trivia contests.
