Fishnet Follies School of Classic Burlesque: New class and free introductory session

There's a new burlesque school in town, and its name is Fishnet Follies School of Classic Burlesque! There will be a free introductory "basic training" class at 2pm on Sunday, May 9, at Bay Functional Fitness in the Rockridge area of Oakland. A six-week class will begin at 2pm the following Sunday, May 16, at the same location.

Fishnet Follies School of Classic Burlesque is brought to you by the same people who presented Comic Strip! at the Ball of Justice this past month at the DNA Lounge (see previous post), not to mention many shows in Southern California. Mynx d'Meanor and Flame Cynders of Fishnet Follies are both well-known and respected burlesque performers who have over 20 years of various dance experience between them, and they will be the instructors for the classes.

Here is a class description from their website.
