Yes, Dottie Lux will be on the road to Guerneville for the Vieux Carre Burlesque Entertainment for Ladies show, which is part of the Russian River Women's Weekend. She'll be joining Lady Monster and "a lovely crew of luscious temptresses for an event that will make you drool and swoon, and perhaps run for a fire extinguisher!" The show will start at 9pm at the Russian River Resort, 16390 4th Street in Guerneville. Cover is $10.
Dottie will also be teaching a special $20 School of Shimmy class on Saturday, May 22, at 11:00am at Buck's, 16440 4th Street in Guerneville. Register in advance for the workshop at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/112996.
Meanwhile, back in San Francisco, Virginia Suicide takes the controls of Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in the Mission for the weekly 7:30pm show. Performing will be Ophelia Coeur de Noir, Feliatio BJ Brown, Bunny Bardot, Monifa & Ophelia Love! You can see the show for between $5 and $10 (sliding scale). El Rio is at 3158 Mission Street.
