San Francisco Carnaval Grand Parade on Sunday, May 30

The Bay Area's fabulous Hot Pink Feathers will be participating in the SF Carnaval Grand Parade this Sunday, May 30, which will take place in the Mission District on 24th and Mission Streets starting at 9:30am.

The Hot Pink Feathers have been a mainstay of the parade for years. Their exuberant dancing and colorful costumes make them a crowd favorite!

If you plan to see the parade, make sure you take along some sunblock, some layered clothing to prepare for various weather conditions, and perhaps a snack and water. Plus bring along a camera to take some pictures! The kick-off starts at 9:30, so you'll want to get there by then to get a good viewing spot along the route. The Feathers will also be at their staging spot at 2268 Bryant starting at 8am if you'd like to get some still pictures with them and say hello.

To get an idea of what the parade is like, you may view some videos at Carnavaldreaming.com featuring the Hot Pink Feathers.

Have a good weekend! :-)
