SF Bay Area burlesque for the week of December 1, 2008

Well, it seems I'm still paying for going out almost every night when i first caught my cold! So I'll probably be staying in this whole week to try and shake this bug.

But I'll be at the First Friday Follies benefit for Madame E! Other than that show on Friday, here are the rest of the burlesque shows coming this week :

• Monday, December 1: Uptown Hubba Hubba at the Uptown in Oakland. Join Bunny Pistol, sASSy Hotbuns, Kitty von Quimm, Raven, Virginia Slim, Chi Chis delFuego and your host, Kingfish and Eddie, for a wondrous start to a new month. Doors 9pm, show 10ish. $5, 21+ w/ID.
• Friday, December 5: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco. Join Dottie Lux, Isis Starr, Ruby White, Amelia Mae Paradise and MORE!! Before the show enjoy some BBQ at SF's best happy hour! Show at 7:30pm. $5-10 sliding scale, 21+ w/ID.
• Also Friday: First Friday Follies at The Stork Club in Oakland. A special benefit for Madame E! Join an amazing lineup including Dottie Lux, Madam Chartreuse, Ophelia Coeur de Noir, Chi Chis delFuego, Mable Sugar, and more! Plus raffles! Doors at 8pm, show at 9:30. Free, but suggested donation $5, 21+ w/ID.
• Saturday, December 6: Kraft-A-Billy Holiday Show at Fat City in SF. A DIY show that includes performances by Chi Chis delFuego, Josie Starre, Milkshake, and Holly Highbeams. Presented by Krafty Kitten. From 11am to 6pm. Free, 21+ w/ID.
• Also Saturday: Burlesque n' Brass at Cafe Van Kleef in Oakland. The Christmas show with the Hot Pink Feathers and Blue Bone Express. Doors at 8:30pm, show at 9 sharp. $10, 21+ w/ID.
