SF Burlesque for Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7, 2008

Methinks the rush of holiday burlesque shows is now underway! I'm getting dizzy looking at all the fun holiday events coming up!

Well, there's a few shows and stuff coming up today and tomorrow. For full details, check out the calendar, but I'll list them here:
Saturday, December 6
  • Kraft-A-Billy Holiday Show presented by Krafty Kitten at Fat City in SF. Burlesque with Josie Starre, Chi Chis delFuego, Milkshake, and Holly Highbeams! Pin-up contest! DIY vendors! Raffles! 11am to 6pm. Free, 21+ w/ID.
  • The Great Dickens Christmas Fair at the Cow Palace in SF. The immensely popular, roguish production of the "Saucy French Postcard Tableaux Revue - or the Secret Life of Mr. & Mrs. Horatio Everard, Esq." is a highlight of the Fair and returns for the fourth year in a row at the Victoria & Albert Theatre with all new tableaux vivants. This immensely popular nighttime entertainment is sure to beguile and delight the adults in the audience (age 18 and up). Every Saturday and Sunday through December 21. Fair 11am to 7pm. $22-55, 18+.
  • Burlesque n' Brass at Cafe Van Kleef in Oakland. The Hot Pink Feathers' Christmas medley, and 3 other sets. Plus partners in crime, Blue Bone Express with 3 sets of music. Doors at 8:30pm, show at 9:30 sharp. $10, 21+ w/ID.
Sunday, December 7
  • The Great Dickens Christmas Fair. See above.
  • Cabaret Dé~Nude at The Stud in SF. A lezzi, queer girl and tranny Strip Joint featuring uncensored, risqué and fun performances guaranteed to tantalize and satiate your every naughty desire. Burlesque, Striptease and Erotic Performance Art, with a dash of comedy, spoken word, poetry, song and more! Doors at 6pm, show at 7:30. $8 before 7pm, $10 after, 21+ w/ID.
Woo hoo! Lots of shows, including some at holiday events like the Great Dickens Christmas Fair. Tis the season to make like Kingfish and Eddie and be jolly! Ho ho ho!
