San Francisco area burlesque for June 9 to June 15, 2010

On Friday, there will be a fundraiser for the film, "Public Sex, Private Minds" at the Paradise Lounge in San Francisco. Performing at the fundraiser will be Kiss Que Shack All-Star Burlesque, which includes Pin Key Lee, Mae Western, Balla Fire, Lady Satan, Bunny Pistol, & Sparkly Devil! Odessa Lil will be the mistress of ceremonies. In addition, the stars and filmmakers will be mingling, and there will be a silent auction.

In addition, there will be the regularly scheduled weekly and monthly shows: Little Minsky's on Thursday, Red Hots Burlesque on Friday, Le Boy on Saturday, the Hubba Hubba Revue at the Uptown in Oakland on Monday and Fishnet Follies will be hosting Dr. Sketchy's San Francisco on Tuesday.

What a week of shows!

• Thursday, June 10: Little Minsky's at Club Deluxe in San Francisco, 1511 Haight Street. Little Minsky's is brought to you by Douglas Good (of Cabaret Verdalet). Doors at 9pm, show at 10pm. $5, 21+ w/ID.
  


• Friday, June 11: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco, 3158 Mission Street. Dottie Lux brings you a different show every single week! Each event promises the seductive and spicy, absurd and amusing all from local and visiting talent. Show at 7:30pm. $5-10, sliding scale. 21+ w/ID.


• Also, Friday: 'Public Sex, Private Minds' Film Fundraiser Party w/Kiss Que Shack All Star Burlesque at the Paradise Lounge in San Francisco, 1501 Folsom Street. Come to the documentary film fundraiser party for 'Public Sex, Private, Minds' featuring Princess Donna, Lorelei Lee, and others! DJ 's Ruby White & Twisted Scissor spinning throughout the night! Kiss Que Shack All Star Burlesque show featuring Mistress of Ceremonies, "Odessa Lil" with incredible performers: Pin Key Lee, Mae Western, Balla Fire, Lady Satan, Bunny Pistol, & Sparkly Devil! 9pm to 2am. $12-20 at the door.
  


• Saturday, June 12: Le Boy at the White Horse Inn in Oakland, 6551 Telegraph Avenue. Queer, gender-bending boylesque. Featuring Libby Doe, Vera DeVille, Blaze Cummings & Bettie Bootae, Dicky Luv & Mitchell Brothers, singing *CODY, Manny Nuff, Puck Goodfellow, Patina DeCopper, A. • Monday, June 14: Uptown Hubba Hubba at the Uptown in Oakland, 1928 Telegraph Avenue. This coming Monday, it's everybody's favorite sexy-laughy-drinkie night! Kingfish and Eddie will be the emcees, and they've got Rosalynn la Roux, Delilah, Kiss Me Kate, June Cleavage, Isabella Minx, Naughty Nightshade, Magician Hernan Cortez, and Zip the What-Is-It?! Plus special guest comedy-juggler Frank Olivier! Doors at 9pm, show at 10:15. $5, 21+ w/ID.
  


• Tuesday, June 15: Dr. Sketchy's SF presents Fishnet Follies Burlesque Revue at 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco, 111 Minna Street. Guest hosts Mynx D'Meanor and Flame Cynders bring the magic of Fishnet Follies Burlesque Revue to Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School in San Francisco! Bring your classiest, most bedazzled sketchbook! 7pm to 10pm. $10 general admission, $7 students/teachers. 21+ w/ID.
