Beerlesque with Hubba Hubba Revue this Thursday, February 11, 2010

Did you know that it's SF Beer Week? Oh yeah! It runs from February 5 to 14, actually, and it's being sponsored by the SF Brewers Guild. You can check out all of the activities and "buzz" at sfbeerweek.org!

So how does this relate to burlesque? Beer and burlesque both start the letter "B"! Besides that, the Hubba Hubba Revue will be getting together with Schmaltz Brewing to celebrate the return of Coney Island Human Blockhead^TM (Tough-As-Nails Strong Lager) with a party at the Paradise Lounge on Thursday! And where there's Hubba Hubba Revue, there's burlesque...

So raise a Coney Island Human Blockhead^TM to your lips and enjoy some fine burlesque. If you'd like a really good view of the stage, head on up to the second floor and stand along the railing above the stage area! Cheers!

Shmaltz Brewing Company, ringleaders of the new line of sideshow-inspired Coney Island Craft Lagers(TM), is excited to announce the return of their seasonal attraction, Coney Island Human Blockhead(TM) (Tough-As-Nails Strong Lager). Pound for pound, Human Blockhead(TM) is a finely crafted professional. 8 specialty malts of barley, wheat, rye, and oats create an enormously developed body. Juggling 6 hop varieties from European Noble roots to American Pacific Northwest new school flavors balances this weighty task. 10% alcohol nails it home.

The party is taking place at Paradise Lounge, called the "Best Dance Club Revival" by SF Weekly in 2009. Join new and old members of the Shmaltz Tribe, Hubba Hubba Revue (San Francisco's biggest, wildest, and most elaborate burlesque & variety show), Vagabondage, and more, for a celebration of good beer, good friends, and great fun.
