And if you'd like to perform on stage or would like to learn something new in 2010, take some of Bombshell Betty's Burlesquersize classes! Her Burlesque Choreography Intensive class starts tomorrow, and a Cardo Can-Can class starts on January 25! Here are the details on both classes which may also be found at www.bombshellbetty.net/burlesquercise.html:

BURLESQUE CHOREOGRAPHY INTENSIVE:
Learn the MISERLOU act that the Burlesqueteers performed at the opening night of Tease-o-Rama 2007!

In this special burlesque choreography intensive, we will cover the choreography for both the Exotica version and the Surf/Go-Go version of Miserlou. This choreography covers a wide range of movements and techniques, from advanced bump and grind to tassel-twirling go-go dancing!

The class will also work together in class to create the costuming for this number. Don't know how to sew? No problem! Tasks will be assigned at various skill levels, so you can learn through the collaborative process.

SO YOU WANNA PERFORM? While performing is never a requirement, all participants in the Burlesque Choreography series are eligible to perform this act with live musical accompaniment by Bombshell Betty's burlesque band, Fromagique, at these shows:

* Tuesday, March 9, at the Elbo Room in SF
* Monday, March 15, at the Uptown Tavern in Oakland

PLUS MANY MORE PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES!

CLASS SCHEDULE:
Tuesdays, 8:30-10:00pm
January 12 - March 2
