Well, they're having a show coming up this Sunday at The Stud in San Francisco. It's titled Spookshow A-Go-Go: Mommy Dearest and Mother F***ers. Oh, even using those asterisks is making me apoplectic. Please give me a few moments to recover. Talk amongst yourselves....
Alright. It looks like a totally rockin' show. And mothers are free that day, too! Taking a closer look, it looks like everyone can get in free before 8pm. Wow! How can you beat a free show after having dinner with mum? If the producers would only watch their language. Haha. Here are the deets:

About The Film: Mommy Dearest Mommie Dearest has become a cult classic despite overwhelmingly negative reviews by film critics. Roger Ebert opened his review with "I can't imagine who would want to subject themselves to this movie." About Dunaway's performance, Variety said "Dunaway does not chew scenery. Dunaway starts neatly at each corner of the set in every scene and swallows it whole, costars and all.
" Roughly a month into release, Paramount realized the film was getting a reputation and box office as an unintentional comedy, and changed its advertising to reflect its new camp status, proclaiming, "Meet the biggest MOTHER of them all!"

She's The Devil's ex-wife and she's not afraid to break your heart too!
Dottie Lux- There are two components that make up delectable Dottie: sexy, classy, delish delight and absurd humor. With acts ranging from distinguished beauty to deranged clown, this Red Hot is always the perfect flavor. Dottie has brought chuckles, bumps and grinds to NYC, SF, Seattle, LA, Boston and even the seedy shores of Coney Island.
Lady Monster- Stripping at the speed of seduction, Lady Monster will rip apart your conceptions of how sexy a big girl can be. This veteran spoken word siren has a shimmy in her step, peeling off her velvet gloves to reveal an iron fist. About your Producers:
Val Killmore is an independent filmmaker who grew up in Southern California. While in NYC she worked for one of the largest independent film companies in the world distributing first run, classic, and reissue movies to theaters and television worldwide. She serves as Associate Program Director for the Coney Island Film Festival. Currently residing in SF and NYC, Val is an Independent Film Producer; producing mainstream Hollywood-fare pictures. She continues to write, direct and produce her own underground and lewd films, ripe with dark humor and buxom beauties. Val is also currently in pre-production with her first feature film, which will go into production this summer of '09, and is slated to be theatrically released worldwide in 2010.
