Baby Doe of the Devil-Ettes at Kick-Ass Events on Thursday, May 14, 2009

I've been a part of organizing events before, and I know how difficult they can be. All the planning required. All the fires that spring up that need to be doused. Trying to expect the unexpected, and still knowing that one will experience something that hasn't ever happened to one before. So if I weren't going to the Lily Burana signing and Sugar Shack event at the Hypnodrome the Thursday, I'd check out Baby Doe of the Devil-Ettes at Kick-Ass Events.

I witnessed her in action at last year's Tease-O-Rama, and I'm convinced that she could pretty much handle organizing almost any kind of event. With all the drama going on, she manages to outwardly project cool under fire. And many of the people I talk to in the SF burlesque scene say that she helped them put together their events and shows.
