SF Bay Area burlesque for the week of January 19, 2009

It looks like there are only two shows this week, so it'll be a short post!

• Monday, January 19, 2009: Uptown Hubba Hubba at the Uptown in Oakland, 1928 Telegraph Avenue. It's time for more cheese, please! That means it's time for Fromagique! Featuring the Fromagettes, Bombshell Betty and her Burlesqueteers, Holly Highbeams, Tinky Sparkle, Coconuts, Peggy Pistolwhip, Double Dare, Bootsy LaRue and Scarlett Fever! Doors 9pm, show 10ish. $5, 21+ w/ID.
• Friday, January 16: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco, 3158 Mission Street. Dottie Lux brings you the best in burlesque along with some great BBQ at SF's best happy hour! Show at 7:30pm. $5-10 sliding scale, 21+ w/ID.
