Return of Sugar Shack SF: Saturday, January 17, 2009

Without a lot of fanfare, Sugar Shack San Francisco is back! The last show was in August of last year, but they've found a new venue and they're back and better than ever!

This time around, the show is at the Paradise Lounge in SF. Lady Satan, Ruby White, and Sergio Iglesias are back along with guest DJs Tina Boom Boom and Sarah Pedal. Miss Honey Penny and Dottie Lux round out the performers for the evening.

Here is all the info from the producers themselves:

Calling all movers and shakers,San Francisco’s favorite dance party- Sugar Shack – is back to take San Francisco by storm!

Recent New York transplant, Lady Satan (Sugar Shack (NY), Red Hots Burlesque (NY & SF)) and Los Angeles relocated Ruby White (Lux & Ruby’s Burlesque-A-Go-Go (LA), Red Hots Burlesque (SF)) join forces with DJ extraordinaire, Sergio Iglesias (Teenage Dance Craze, “Best Underground Dance Party”- SF Bay Guardian, Girl Groups) and special guest DJs, to co-produce San Francisco’s favorite new 60s dance party and burlesque show, Sugar Shack. The second West Coast Sugar Shack will feature 60’s themed burlesque performances by the Original Sin herself Lady Satan, the Goddamn Adorable Ruby White, booty shakin’ Miss Honey Penny and our final performer and undeniable emcee of the evening, the ultra-glamorous Dottie Lux (Red Hots Burlesque (NY & SF), School of Shimmy (NY & SF)).

Providing the evening’s soundtrack are resident Sugar Shack DJ, Sergio Iglesias and very special guest DJs Tina Boom Boom (of The Bobbyteens and Trashwomen) and Sarah Pedal (Club Internationale) spinning the best in 60s and 70s, garage, R’n’B and French Ye-Ye until 3AM!
