SF Bay Area burlesque for the week of October 27, 2008

It's here! Halloween week! And that means that there's a lot of themed show up to and including Halloween. So check them out below, and make your plans now before they all pass you by!

• Monday, October 27: Uptown Hubba Hubba at the Uptown Nightclub in Oakland. Hey! It's my friend Josie Starre's birthday! So join Josie and Bunny Pistol, Twilight Vixen Revue, Chi Chis DelFuego, Milkshake, Miss Balla Fire, Monifa, Madam Chartreuse, and Isabella Minx to kick off this Halloween week the right way! Doors at 9pm, show at 10ish. $5, 21+w/ID.
• Wednesday, October 29: Haute House Burlesque at Stagewerx in San Francisco. Join the Bombshell Betty's Burlesqueteers for a Monster Party! See sexy goulies, mummies, zombies and more getting down to the nitty gritty, plus Bombshell Betty will be performing her act from this year's Tease-o-Rama! And you won't want to miss this *scary* Sarah Palin group act! Doors at 7pm, show at 8. $12-15, 18 years and up.
  
• Also Wednesday: Tingel Tangel at Swedish American Hall in SF. Join hosts Marga Gomez and Anna Conda for a magical show featuring Penny Arcade, Holcomb Waller, Vinsantos, Kitten on the Keys, Ethel Merman, DJ Sunevil Deirdre Eagan and Sophisticated Boom Boom, and the Diamond Daggers and SF Boylesque! 9:00pm. $16-22, 21+ w/ID.
  
• Friday, October 31: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in SF. Dottie Lux brings you a different show every single week! Each event promises the seductive and spicy, absurd and amusing all from local and visiting talent. Show at 7:30. $5-10 sliding scale, 21+ w/ID.
• Also Friday: Inferno Paradiso Halloween at The Regency Center in SF. Join the Hubba Hubba Revue for "The Burlesquorcist." Plus the Mark Growdan Trio! Rosin Coven! David Starfire! And dance with wicked crews and evil beats in the Subterranean Sutter Room. Did I hear someone say, "P-A-R-T-Y!"? 9pm-4am. $30-40.
• Saturday, November 1: Burlesque n' Brass at Cafe Van Kleef in Oakland. Join Blue Bone Express and the Hot Pink Feathers for 3 sets of live music, and 3 sets of dance. In the aisle and on the stage, the Feathers dance straight into your hearts! Doors at 8pm, show at 9:30. $10, 21+ w/ID.
