It's Fat Tuesday, so that means that the Hot Pink Feathers (pictured) will be dancing! This year, they're teaming up with their Burlesque n' Brass partners Blue Bone Express at Vitus in Oakland.See Kellita and the rest of the Feathers perform their World Cabaret Showgirl dances for you! Hear the New Orleans-tinged party jazz of Oakland's very own Blue Bone Express. Your emcee during the evening will be Kingfish of the Hubba Hubba Revue. Is there a better way to celebrate Mardi Gras in the Bay Area? No!

Vitus is located at 201 Broadway in Oakland (map). Vitus is the former Duke's Restaurant on the corner of Broadway and 2nd Street. The doors open at 8:00 p.m., and Blue Bone Express starts playing at 9:30. Get there early for a good spot to see the show and enjoy some of their savory sandwiches! Tickets are $10.00 and may be purchased in advance at www.vitusoakland.com. All revelers at this show must be 21 and older!
