Of course, there is the Eddie Dane Memorial Bash on Thursday at the DNA Lounge which will feature a lot of entertainment as well as memories of Eddie. Even if you didn't know him all that well, it will be a great way to learn about him from other people as they tell their stories. Plus there will be lots of music and burlesque!
On Friday, the Cock-Ts will be performing in their last show together at the Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco's Civic Center. They've also got their pals the Devil-Ettes, Dottie Lux, Delilah, and others to see them off the right way. With a cheerleading cheer!
That Friday will also see the one year anniversary celebration by sASSy's Seaside Burlesque in Pacifica at Winters Tavern. It'll be huge! Plus they've got Live Evil to play some rock music before the burlesque!
Saturday will feature Blanc et Noir at the Shattuck Down Low Lounge in Berkeley. This is the monthly show put on by Burlesque Moulin and Red Hots Burlesque. It's the show you want to see if you like a little continental flair with your burlesque experience. Plus they have lots of chairs!
Sunday will see Debauchery's monthly show. This month's show will benefit the Queer Community Center, and it'll be hosted by Vegas Jake. It'll be at the White Horse Inn in Oakland.
And if you still are desiring some burly-q on Monday, then Bombshell Betty and Fromagique will be bringing their springtime show "Too Many F&@%ing Bunnies" to the Uptown Club in Oakland. So if you missed it at the Elbo Room last week, make sure you don't miss it this time!

- Also Thursday: Little Minsky's Burlesque and Variety Show at Club Deluxe in San Francisco, 1511 Haight Street (map). It's time once again for Little Minsky's! This month, join emcee Ethel Merman for a delightful show in the Haight. Guests will include the rag-style ukelele maestro The Dimestore Dandy and the the dance artist extraordinaire Rasa Vitalia. Plus there's a ravishing and talented collection of ecdysiasts including La Chica Boom, Bunny Pistol, Kiss Me Kate, Ariyana La Fey, Miss Honey Penny, and Dottie Lux! - Tuesday, April 19: Dr. Sketchy's SF presents The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco, 111 Minna Street (map). This is your opportunity to draw the Sisters as they will pose for you! The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is a leading-edge Order of queer nuns. Since their first appearance in San Francisco on Easter Sunday, 1979, the Sisters have devoted themselves to community service, ministry and outreach to those on the edges, and to promoting human rights, respect for diversity and spiritual enlightenment. All profits from this event will be donated to the Sisters for their good works. 7pm to 10pm. $12 general admission, $10 students and teachers. 21+. From 5:30 to 6:30, Diane Olivier will conduct a drawing clinic. You must email Diane to get on the list of 12 to be eligible, and pay the fee of $20 (includes Dr. Sketchy session).
