Red Hots Burlesque, I Love Glenn in SF tonight, Friday, January 28

Just as there were two burlesque shows happening in Oakland this Friday (see previous post), there are several shows happening in the San Francisco which you may be able to attend back-to-back.

Every week, Dottie Lux of Red Hots Burlesque brings you the spiciest and most seductive acts in burly-q to the happy hour at El Rio, 3158 Mission Street (map). This week, New York's Legs Malone will be bringing her thirty-four and one-half inch inseam to the stage.

NSFW: Also, the music is somewhat loud, so turn down the volume a bit. We don't want everyone to know you're partying in your cubicle...

Also performing will be Living Legend of Burlesque Isis Starr, Oleeander Moon, Ava Lanche, RHB's Dottie Lux, and Ms. Luisa of Minneapolis!

Red Hots Burlesque

Come with your sense of humor, get ready to hoot and holler. Red Hots Burlesque brings you the "city's best" bump and grind at the "happiest hour" in the bay!

SF's Only Weekly Burlesque show is BACK!

3158 Mission St San Francisco

With performances by Dottie Lux , Isis Starr, Legs Malone (NYC), Oleeander Moon, Ava Lanche and Ms. Louisa (MN)!

About our debut performers:

Legs Malone: Legs got her start through London's famed Whoopee club in 2006 and has performed on stages throughout New York City, London, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Bermuda, Washington DC, Richmond, The Berkshires, and The Hamptons. Legs was Associate Producer at Sugar Shack Burlesque from 2007-2010 and produced The Legs Malone Show, an exhibition of performative art with a distinctly burlesque twist, from 2008 - 2010. She continues to perform widely throughout the NYC area and regularly up and down the East Coast, not to mention all over the world!

With a formal academic training in Art History and Contemporary Art, Legs brings a developed eye towards the aesthetics of theater, performance and entertainment to create humorous and titillating acts for the audience's pleasure.

Her goal is to be a heart-stoppingly excellent performer on every stage and in every country she finds herself in. Vive le spectacle

Then, if you're a Danzig, Misfits, or Samhain fan, you'll not want to miss I Love Glenn at 111 Minna Gallery! It's an evening of burlesque performances dedicated to Glenn Danzig, with live music from Plan 9, a Misfits tribute band!

The show will start at 9:00 p.m. (doors at 8:00), so you'll have to scoot quickly from El Rio, but it's doable. 111 Minna Gallery is located at 111 Minna Street (map), and it's several blocks from the Montgonery Street BART station.
