SF Bay Area burlesque for the week of November 24, 2008

It looks like a fairly quiet week. I attended Uptown Hubba Hubba last night, which was also a b-day party for Miss de Minna. Professor Shimmy had a Pilgrim-themed act. I guess T-day is not an abundant source of burlesque material!

Nonetheless, there are a couple more shows this week. And they are as follows:

• Wednesday, November 26: Tingel Tangel at Cafe du Nord in San Francisco. Dancing and burlesque/cabaret with Justin Bond, Leigh "Elvis Herselvis" Crow, Connie Champagne, Trauma Flintstone, Veronica Klaus, Harlem Shake, and more! Doors at 8pm, show at 9. $16, 21+ w/ID.
• Friday, November 28: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco. Join host Citty Rich and performers Sparkly Devil, Monifa, Delilah, Lady Satan, and Lily LeRouge! Before the show enjoy some BBQ at SF's best happy hour! Show at 7:30pm. $5-10 sliding scale, 21+ w/ID.

Aiight. I'm outie for the holiday, so everybody have a good and safe one. Don't accept any wooden turkeys! Gobble, gobble!
