SF Bay Area burlesque for the week of November 10, 2008

Whew! The elections are over and it's time for the hard work to begin. It won't be easy, and there well be lots of difficult decisions to be made, but don't forget to take some time for yourself and see some fantabulous burlesque this week!

• Monday, November 10: Uptown Hubba Hubba at the Uptown Nightclub in Oakland. Wondrous cabaret, torch, and showtune singer Wiggy Darlington leads a lineup that includes Milkshake, Delilah, Chi Chis delFuego, Madameoiselle Muerta, Kitty von Quimm, Lola Vauntz, and Sid Scenic. Doors at 9pm, show at 10ish. $5, 21+ w/ID.
• Thursday, November 13: Little Minsky's at Club Deluxe in San Francisco. Little Minsky's is brought to you by Douglas Good (of Cabaret Verdalet), The Flying Fox (burlesque glamour girl) and a few shady characters they dare not name. Doors at 9pm, show at 9:30ish or so. $5, 21+ w/ID.
  
• Friday, November 14: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in SF. Join your hostess with the mostest, Kitten on the Keys, for a show celebrating the petite! Mini Marilyn Manson (aka Nik Sin), Cherry Gallante, Little Eyeful and Cupcake of Belles du Jour, and Amelia Mae Paradise of Diamond Daggers fame will join RHB's Dottie Lux for a show that may be small, but big on entertainment value! Show at 7:30. $5-10 sliding scale, 21+ w/ID.
