San Francisco Bay Area burlesque for the week of July 14, 2008

Looks like we've got lots of great burlesque shows on tap this week! They'll be topped off by the "big" show, Hubba Hubba Revue, which is the "largest monthly burlesque and variety show," according to the neo-burlesque article in Wikipedia. This month's theme? Jolly Olde England!

• Monday: Uptown Hubba Hubba at the Uptown in Oakland. Doors at 9pm, show starts at 10. $5 cover, 21+ w/ID.
• Wednesday: Barbary Coast Burlesque at Annie's Social Club in San Francisco. Show at 9pm. $8 cover, 21+ w/ID.
• Friday: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco. Show at 7:30pm. Free this week! 21+ w/ID.
• Also Friday: Hubba Hubba Revue: Jolly Olde England! at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco. Show at 9pm. $10-15, 21+ w/ID.
