Week of June 23, 2008: San Francisco burlesque shows

Burlesque shows in and around San Francisco for the week of June 23, 2008:

• Monday: Uptown Hubba Hubba at the Uptown in Oakland. Show starts at 10pm. $5 cover, 21+ w/ID.
• Wednesday: Burlesqueteers at Stagewerx in San Francisco. Doors at 7pm, show starts at 8. $12 in advance (before noon at www.bombshellbetty.net/shows.html), $15 at the door.
• Thursday thru Saturday: Twilight Vixen Revue and SF Boylesque at the Garage in San Francisco. Show starts at 8pm. $10-15 sliding scale.
• Friday: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco. Show at 7:30pm. $4-10 sliding scale, 21+ w/ID.
• Saturday: Belles Du Jour at the Stork Club in Oakland (Part of the DIY Expo). Show at 5:30pm. Free, 21+ w/ID.
• Also Saturday: Diamond Daggers at 111 Minna in San Francisco (Part of the Dyke March After Affair). Doors at 8pm, show at 9. $12-20 sliding scale.
• Also Saturday: Madame Maraschino presents Red Hots Burlesque at Bender's in San Francisco. Doors at 9pm, show soon to follow. $8, 21+ w/ID.
