SUPPOSITORI SPELLING
Suppositori Spelling, named Best Drag Queen of SF 2011 by
SF Bay Guardian, is the internationally prominent San Francisco
personality, consistently raising (and intentionally lowering) the bar for the alternative drag scene since 1997. Since her crowning of the Ms. Trannyshack 2002 title, some of her many career highs include performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Scotland, in 2007) and Glastonbury Festival (England, in 2007 & 2009); a starring role as Jeremy Starr in the upcoming feature film "The Rise And Fall Of Jeremy Starr" ; and emceeing at the Folsom Street Fair in 2008-11.
About our debut performer:
Siouxsie Q is a writer, performer, sex worker activist, and revolutionary. She started her career in awesomeness at San Francisco's historic Lusty Lady Theater--the only unionized worker owned peep show in the entire world. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in the Theatre Arts and is known to transform into a ukulele playing mermaid on occasion. She is a force of glitter, heels, fishnets and folly. She has toured around the country doing everything from burlesque and spoken word to impromptu funk jams about slut pride with Amanda Palmer. Most recently you may have seen her at Kinky Salon, Seduction Feroce, The Crash Pad Series, and the Center for Sex and Culture.
