This month's featured performer is Suppositori Spelling! This week, you can see her perform on Wednesday. Also on stage that night will be Clara Cupcakes of Perth, Australia, Bootsy La Rue, and Tali Tart. The show will be hosted by Dottie Lux.
On Friday, RHB returns for their second show of the week. This show will feature Dottie Lux, Ada Lavender, Francine Dead, Pearl E Gates, and Rasa Vitalia. It will be hosted by Honey Lawless!
Both shows start at 7:30 p.m. at El Rio, which is located at 3158 Mission Street in San Francisco (map). Entry to the showroom is on a sliding scale from $5.00 to $10.00.
And on Thursday, April 5, Red Hots Burlesque and El Rio present Go Deep: Let's Wrestle! It'll be an evening of music, drinks, food, burlesque, and women's lube wrestling!

Suppositori Spelling, named Best Drag Queen of SF 2011 by
SF Bay Guardian, is the internationally prominent San Francisco
personality, consistently raising (and intentionally lowering) the bar for the alternative drag scene since 1997. Since her crowning of the Ms. Trannyshack 2002 title, some of her many career highs include performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Scotland, in 2007) and Glastonbury Festival (England, in 2007 & 2009); a starring role as Jeremy Starr in the upcoming feature film "The Rise And Fall Of Jeremy Starr" ; and emceeing at the Folsom Street Fair in 2008-11.

CLARA CUPCAKES This is one dame who's good with her hands - be it baking a tray of her famous kitsch cupcakes or twirling a feather fan in her tribute to the great Louise Brooks. She's a knockout with those hips too - don't miss her astonishing signature charleston hula hoop act, the only performance of it's kind in the world. That's not all Clara has hidden under her cloche. She'll serenade you with a witty little ditty accompanied by her trusty ukulele if you get on her sweet side. Known for her quirky stage presence, hot shoe shufflin' and red hot hoochie coochin' antics, Clara leaves audiences hootin' and hollerin' for more. The Queen of Cute, Clara's mischievous vaudevillian grin is irresistible, not to mention those va-va-voom curves! Dancer, madcap flapper, gin soaked floozy and vampish vagabond, Clara Cupcakes was born for burlesque.

It'll be at El Rio, and it'll be the one year anniversary show! The burlesque and sign-ups begin at 8:00 p.m., and the wrestling starts at 9:00. Entrance to the show is on a sliding scale from $10.00 to $15.00, and for a bit more you can get ringside seats.
