In conjunction with Red Hots Burlesque, there will be a series of events to celebrate her return to where she started her burlesque career. Both Red Hots Wednesday and Friday shows at El Rio are part of the celebration, there will be a big dinner and storytelling show on Saturday, and there will be a class taught by Satans Angel on Sunday!
Satans Angel is one of the most talked-about performers in the world of burlesque today. She doesn't mince words or pull her punches. If you attend the dinner and storytelling event on Saturday, you'll hear her recount how she started out as a performer, her many trips around the world to perform, and her brushes with famous (and infamous) people. Satan's Angel started Exotic dancing in San Francisco in 1961, after winning an amateur strip contest in a North Beach nightclub called The Moulin Rouge. She is the Original Queen of her Patented Fire tassels, and still twirls those Ta Ta's Flambe to this day! She speaks at Burlesque Conventions, Universities, Social Clubs, Radio and TV-Talk Shows. She Has passed on Her Signature Fire tassel Act , teaches Classes, and Burlesque 101. In 2007, she won America's Most Outrageous Talent on The Maury Povich Show by 440,000 votes! In 2009 she won The Burlesque Hall of Fame Legends Award, for her time spent giving back to the World of Burlesque.

Dinner, Performance, and Storytelling - October 22 at Disco Volante
The big Dinner and Storytellling event will take place on Saturday, October 22, at the restaurant and nightclub Disco Volante in Oakland. The main part of the show will include material from Satans Angel's one woman play, "Have Tassels Will Travel." Plus, there will be an opening performance (with fire!) by Francine Dead.
If you would like a three-course prix fixe dinner, the cost will be $40.00. The dinner choices are listed below, so you can decide now if you would like the dinner option. Disco Volante is located at 347 14th Street (map). The official event start time is 7:00 p.m., but you'll probably want to get there early to get a good seat. Disco Volante lists a opening time of 6:45 on their website, so you'll probably want to be there by then.

The TaTas Flambe Tour and School of Shimmy: The Class from Hell - Sunday, October 23 at Viracocha

It's tough love, The Class from Hell, the good the bad and the ugly of Burlesque! Satan's Angel is known for being way too honest. Come prepared to work! She will be teaching you what it took her more than 50 years to learn in just 2 short hours!
She brings photo's of some... of the Queens of yesterday, and does a few moments on the History of Burlesque!
She will discuss the basics of working the stage including stage persona, choosing your music, stage lighting, makeup and hair, producers, photographers, wages, pageants, schools to take. She will also offer tips on a range of striptease specialties, such as how to work with your costume in your act; how to get the most out of panels, flirting with a duster/negligee ranging from 60 to 150 yards. You will even get a chance to play with in a hands on lesson. She will also instruct on Stocking and Glove Peels, working a feather boa and MORE!
She also teaches a few moments on her *Spinner Pasties* on why these are better then the average pair you buy.....a spinner for each person, so you'll know what to look for and where to buy them, and how they will help save your breasts!
