Thrillville and Rock, Strip n' Roll on Thursday, October 29, 2009

Looking at the ole SFBR Burly-Qalandar, it looks like there's two, two noteworthy events happening on Thursday, October 29.

The first is for all you Halloweenie-type movie and burlesque freaks! It's Thrillville's (www.thrillville.net) Halloween Gore 'n' Snorefest with Friends of Burlesque Will the Thrill and Monica Tiki Goddess!

This time, they'll be at the historic Balboa Theater in San Francisco. And they're bringing with them The Deadlies (www.myspace.com/thedeadlysurfinatics) who will play some radical tropical surf punk music, and Lady Monster (www.ladymonster.com), who will rock your socks off with some fiery, hot tassel-twirling! Oh, and you can see two, two "super sleazy, rock 'n' schlock" cult classic films, Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers (1988) and Zontar: The Thing from Venus! (1966).

You're encouraged to go in costume. Lots of prizes are promised. And, O.M.G! There's gonna be an afterparty across the street from the Balboa at Hockey Haven! How can you resist?
