SF Bay Area burlesque for the week of September 1, 2008

September is here. The kids are back in school. The days are getting shorter. But the hot times continue!

• Monday, September 1: Uptown Hubba Hubba at the Uptown Club in Oakland. Leave it to Kingfish and Eddie to liven up a Monday night with booze, broads, and bawdy humor. Doors at 9pm, show at 10. $5 cover, 21+ w/ID.
• Friday, September 5: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco. Dottie Lux brings you a variety of sexy vixens, amazing visuals, and more! Show at 7:30pm. $5-10, sliding scale, 21+ w/ID.
• Also Friday: First Friday Follies at The Stork Club in Oakland. Join the Belles du Jour and MC Scotty the Blue Bunny as they welcome sASSy Hot Buns, Dottie Lux (wave to her on the Bay Bridge as she commutes from her show), The Devil-Ettes, and more as they all celebrate another art walk in Oakland with hot burlesque. Free, 21+ w/ID.
