On Wednesday, May 2, the weekly show will feature a debut by Belle Phénomène, plus performances by Ava Lanche, Trixie Fou Laurent, and La Chica Boom, who will also be conducting a "Finishing Touches" workshop to help improve the comedic timing in your act. It will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
On Friday, May 4, the show will include Red Hots Burlesque's May featured performer Ruby Vixen, Ophelia Love, The Pink Secret, Sugar Cane Jane, sASSy Hotbuns, and Dottie Lux! From 4:00 to 7:30 p.m., there will be Legends Shimmy to Sin City, a benefit for the Burlesque Hall of Fame Legends Challenge to help get some of the legends of burlesque to Las Vegas for this year's BHoF Weekend in June. You can have photos taken with current performers, and there will be signed photos of the legends to purchase. Oh hand will be legends such as Ellion Ness, Isis Starr, Viva La Fever, Madame E and Holiday O'hara! From 4:00 to 6:00, bar proceeds will go towards the fundraiser, so drink up!
The shows on Wednesday and Friday will begin at 7:30 p.m. at El Rio in San Francisco, 3158 Mission Street (map). Entry to the shows are on a sliding scale from $5.00 to $10.00.

RUBY VIXEN
Sassy Spitfire For Hire', Ms Ruby Vixen has been entertaining audiences all over the Bay since 2007. She's performed with Red Hots Burlesque, The Diamond Daggers, Debauchery, and most recently at San Francisco's own Hypnodrome Theater with the Thrillpeddler's revivals of The Cockettes 'Pearls Over Shanghai' and 'Vice Palace'. With her unique combination of sass, style, and queer camp sensibilities, this dancing, singing, all sparkle all the time Vixen is sure to set your heart on fire and leave your face sore from smiling.

Belle is an international Burlesque dancer having performed on stages in the US and Europe.Belle lives up to her name, which translates as "Beautiful Freak".Her irresistible combination of beauty, grace, insanity and a total lack of inhibitions leads to an outrageous and often shocking performance which will have you on the edge of your seat, or sometimes hiding under it. Her performance is a non-verbal commentary on what it is like to be a woman. Sometimes funny, sometimes absurd, sometimes shocking;she highlights the many different aspects of women's lives and their relationships. But above all else, she always entertains.

In between all of the previous events on Thursday will be the monthly all-woman lube wrestling event Go Deep: Let's Wrestle!
Along with the celebrity wrestlers from The Lusty Lady and Thrillpeddlers, if you are a woman you'll have a chance to jump into the lube and wrestle, too! Signups will start at 8:00 p.m., or you can email redhotsburlesque@gmail.com to get a jump on things. The wrestling will begin at 9:00.
In addition, the burlesque performances will start at 8:00. This month, the performers will include Kitty Von Quim and Madam Charteuse!
