Hot Pink Feathers in the 4th of July Parade in Alameda

The Hot Pink Feathers will be participating in the 2011 4th of July Parade in Alameda this morning at 10:00 a.m. If you're up and have lots of sunscreen, water, and a floppy hat or umbrella, you may want to head out to the parade route to see them and the Hot Pink Feathers All-Star Marching Band!

All of the information about the parade may be found at www.myalamedaparade.com. The parade starts at Lincoln Avenue and Park Streets (map). The Feathers are number 75 out of about 150 parade contingents, so you'll have a general idea of where they are in the parade.

Their line-up area will be around Willow Street and Lincoln Avenue (map), and they anticipate being there from 9:00 a.m. to about 11:00 a.m. or so. So feel free to stop by and say hi!
