San Francisco Bay Area burlesque for March 17 - March 23, 2011

Oh my gosh! There are so many shows this week that the writer's fingers feel like they are going to fall off! So this introduction to the weekly round-up of shows will be necesarily brief.

In addition to the number of shows, there is an amazing variety. From Naked Girls Reading, to a School of Shimmy Showcase, to the Brides of March and bridal burlesque at Bootie SF, to photographer Johnny Crash and Dixie DeLish modeling at Dr. Sketchy's SF, there's something for everyone. If you prefer your shows in a swanky setting, there's Barbary Coast Burlesque on Friday and Burlesque Moulin and Red Hots Burlesque's "Under the Sea" on Saturday. If you would like to see a whole lot of perfomances in a burlesque tribute to Monty Python, there's Burlesqueteer Night at the Hubba Hubba Revue Uptown show on Monday. If you'd like a dating show mixed in with your burlesque, SCORE! on Monday night at the Stud Bar may be what you're looking for.

So have a look at the selection of shows below, and choose the show based on your preferences Or try to see them all!
