Tonight! Hubba Hubba Revue's Old Time Religion!

Tonight's Hubba Hubba Revue "Old Time Religion" show promises salvation from another boring Friday evening!

Happening at the DNA Lounge, this big show will be based on the themes of salvation, sin, redemption, and all those things associated with old time religion. With a burlesque twist of course!

There will be dozens of performers, including Australian ecdysiast Miss Georgia Ruby from Sydney! And there will be lots of local performers such as Sparkly Devil, Lady Satan, and pole acrobat Kara Nova! Plus oh-so-much more, including musical guest Chickenhead Johnson! And a special appearance by The Rev. Jerkimiah Thunderchrist! See the whole lineup below!

Doors open at 9:00 p.m., and the show starts at 10:15 p.m. If you arrive at the DNA Lounge box office between 9:00 and 9:30, you may purchase your tickets at a discounted price of just $10.00! Otherwise, tickets are $15.00, $12.00 if you purchase on line in advance at dnalounge.com.

San Francisco Bay Area burlesque for July 21 - July 27, 2011

This week of shows features a show with religion, another with a couple of "Hitwomen," and a fundraiser for the fight against leukemia and lymphoma.

On Friday evening at SOM in San Francisco, join "Glitter and Beats! Fundraiser for Leukemia and Lymphoma." It'll be a fundraiser with a raffle, music by DJ ExtraLars, and burlesque performances!

Later that evening, the Baxtalo Drom show at Amnesia will feature a couple of performers from Chicago who are launching a webseries called "Hitwomen". Lady Jack and Jolie Roberson will be performing burlesque and belly dancing, and there will be lots of music for you to enjoy.

Also happening at almost the same time will be Hubba Hubba Revue's "Old Time Religion!" at the DNA Lounge. It will be an evening of spirituals and salvation... and burlesque! Miss Georgia Ruby of Australia will be one of the burlesque performers, and Chickenhead Johnson will be the musical guest.

A new and different show twice a week, including bizarre beauties, senseless sideshow, drag, burlesque and comedy! 7:30pm. $5 to $10, sliding scale. 21+.
