Hubba Hubba Revue's Love Cruise departs SF's DNA Lounge tonight!

Tonight, step aboard the S.S. Hubba Princess and prepare for a sexy cruise! It's time for the Hubba Hubba Revue Love Cruise at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco!

It'll be the best of shipboard burlesque, aerialists, and comedy with performers such as Lola Martinet, Bombshell Betty and her Burlesqueteers, Miss Honey Penny, Pickles Kintaro, Sgt. Die Wies, Rosalynn La Roux, Miss Balla Fire, Casey Castille, Bunny Pistol, Sparkly Devil, Lady Satan, and more than the ship's capacity for fun!

With dancing to music from DJ Starr, and a naughty-yachting costume contest, there's no excuse to hide in your staterooms! Come to the Lido Deck and join in the merriment!

There will also be goodies and a giveaway from the upcoming documentary "Crazy Horse," which opens in the Bay Area on Friday, March 2 at Landmark's Shattuck Cinemas in Berkeley, at the Rafael Film Center in San Rafael, and at a TBA Landmark theater in San Francisco, probably the Lumiere or Opera Plaza. This film by Frederick Wiseman examines the famous Parisian cabaret club and the unveiling of the brand new show "Désir" by the renowned French choreographer Phillippe Decoufle.

This Monday, February 13, there's an opportunity to see a free advance screening of Frederick Wiseman's documentary "Crazy Horse" at the Shattuck Cinemas in Berkeley as well as gain free admission to the Hubba Hubba Revue show at the Uptown Club in Oakland after the screening!

Uptown Hubba Hubba for Monday, January 25, 2010

This Monday at the Uptown Club in Oakland, see a special performance by Jellyfish Kiss Burlesque. Yes, it's almost time for the Hubba Hubba Revue's weekly show in the East Bay!

Jodi Waseca, who teaches burlesque and belly dancing classes in Sebastopol, heads up Jellyfish Kiss, which will feature some of her students. If you're interested in taking burlesque classes in the North Bay, I'm sure Jodi would be happy to answer any questions you may have during intermission or after the show.

A Witch's Brew: FEED fundraiser on Sunday, October 25, 2009

Filming for the Lux Killmore (www.luxkillmore.com) film FEED will start in about a month. So this will be the last fundraiser scheduled for the time being. And what a fundraiser it is!

It is A Witch's Brew 3! Lady Monster will be hosting on Sunday at the Stud in San Francisco. There will be a vintage car show, live music, vendors, and of course burlesque with Marie La Faux, Lily Le Rouge, Miss Honey Penny, Lady Monster, and Dottie Lux!

If you're interested in being an extra or on the crew for FEED, you can inquire at the event or email FEEDTheFilm@gmail.com. As of earlier in the week, they were still looking for some extras.

A pair of aliens, angered by the "stupid minds" of planet Earth, set up shop in a California cemetery. Their plan: to animate an army of the dead to march on the capitals of the world. (The fact that they have only managed to resurrect three zombies to date has not discouraged them.)
