Katya Smirnoff-Skyy is back to host Little Minsky's with Dr. Abacus providing the cartoon-inspired jazz at Club Deluxe in San Francisco tonight!

And providing the burlesque? Flame Cynders is visiting from Los Angeles! And her Fishnet Follies partner Mynx d'Meanor! Vienna La Rouge is always a Little Minsky's favorite. Plus this will be one of the last performances by Delilah before she moves to New York City! And there will be more performers, too!

Not to mention that it'll also be a celebration of producer Douglas Good's birthday. Happy birthday, Douglas!

Club Deluxe is located at 1511 Haight Street in San Francisco (map). The doors to the show open at 9:00 p.m., and the show starts at 10:00 p.m. Cover is $5.00, and you must be 21 or older to attend the show.

And more musical meanderings from Erika Von Volkyrie with a deft mix of gothic glamour, German cabaret and wicked wit. Accompanied by the incomparable Joe Wicht on the keys. As for the stylish showgirls, let's have a warm welcome-back to the fabulous Flame Cynders visiting us from LA and a rousing cheer for the delightful Delilah, sizzling Miss Balla Fire, luscious Vienna La Rouge, exquisite Mynx d'Meanor, scandalous Lady Satan, adorable Sid Scenic and the alluring Ava Lanche.

We'll also be celebrating the birthday of Little Minsky's producer Douglas Good with copious cocktails and high revelry. (I love writing about myself in third person.)

Alotta Boutté and Katya Smirnoff-Skyy will be hosting Little Minsky's Burlesque and Variety Show together this Thursday evening at Club Deluxe in San Francisco.

This month's performers will include Vamp Lorraine from Los Angeles, Mynx d'Meanor, Vienna La Rouge, Dottie Lux, Sid Scenic, Josie Starre, and Ava Lanche. Plus, your emcees will treat you to several musical numbers, as they are both accomplished singers!

Douglas Good invites you to this month's Little Minsky's Burlesque and Variety Show at Club Deluxe in San Francisco on Thursday night. Little Minsky's is one of the longest-running monthly burlesque shows in the San Francisco Bay Area!

This month, Minsky's welcomes Sailor St. Claire from Seattle, and local favorites such as SF Boylesque, Vienna la Rouge, Flame Cynders (of Fishnet Follies), Dottie Lux (of Red Hots Burlesque), and Chi Chis DelFuego! Plus there will be vocalists, belly dancers, and thrills galore. Read below for all of the juicy show details!

Ladies and gents, get ready to shake it up, drink it down and let the good times roll at the next Little Minsky's with special guest MC Veronica Klaus, stellar and stylish cabaret chanteuse of the soulful serenades and sparkling wit. And let's bring on the dancing boys! That's right, we have a hot number from SF Boylesque, one of the only bay area troupes where the fellas flaunt it in fine vintage fashion. And how's about a little shimmy from the stunning trio Sister Kate with their theatrical blend of belly dance, burlesque and timeless sideshow spectacles. Speaking of sideshow attractions, let's hear it for the triumphant return of the multi-talented Molotov, swallower of swords, thrower of knives eater of fire and all-round inspired madman. As for the solo burlesque beauties we have the ever-elegant and enticing Vienna la Rouge in all of her luxurious custom costumery, the smoldering and seductive Flame Cynders, vivaciously voluptuous Dottie Lux (of Red Hots Burlesque), the fetching and festive Chi Chis DelFuego and a warm Minsky's welcome to the nautically naughty Sailor St. Claire visiting from the Tempting Tarts in Seattle. And yes, we'll have some playful tunes from our favorite glamorous Russian drag diva and inventor of popera music - Countess Katya Smirnoff-Skyy. (No, that's not a typo, popera is the choice hybrid of pop music and opera.) Piano accompaniment for the evening provided by Michael McIntosh of The Cottontails.

A little bit of Seattle is coming to Little Minsky's at Club Deluxe in San Francisco this Thursday night!

Waxie Moon, Fuchsia FoXXX, and Syndi Deveraux, will be staying in the Bay Area after their performance with Sin On Heels on Wednesday night (see previous post) to make this special appearance at one of San Francisco's longest-running monthly burlesque shows. Armitage Shanks will be hosting, too!

In addition, some of the Bay Area's finest will be joining the Seattle stars. Mynx d'Meanor, Lady Satan, Gia Haad, and Kiss Me Kate will light up the Club Deluxe stage. And you'll get the special treat of seeing and hearing Katya Smirnoff-Skyy perform, fresh off her outstanding evening of hosting and performing at Cabaret Verdalet on Saturday night.
