Hubba Hubba Revue will be having the big show of this week, which will be their 5-Year Anniversary Spectacular on Friday night at the DNA Lounge! It will include many of the area's best burlesque performers, including the Hot Pink Feathers, Twilight Vixen Revue, Sparkly Devil, Lady Satan, Alotta Boutté, and many, many more! It will also mark Delilah's last performance in San Francisco before she moves on to New York City.

Rally the Troupes will be having their seventh annual show in Oakland at the Littlefield Concert Hall at Mills College also on Friday night. The show examines liberation and oppression through drag, burlesque, dance, video, and multi-media performance.

The Hot Pink Feathers are teaming up with Burlesque Moulin to present FRISKY! The Saturday evening show will take place in Berkeley at the Shattuck Down Low, and will feature troupe and solo performances on stage and as a floorshow. La Chica Boom will be a special guest, and she'll also be performing the previous night at Rally the Troupes VII.

She'll be performing Friday at the Hubba Hubba Revue: Hell! show, having an Aloha Party at Forbidden Island Tiki Lounge in Alameda on Saturday, and teaching a Bump-N-Glide class and a Tassles and Spinners DIY class on Monday at Medium Reality Studios in San Francisco. Burlesque n' Brass and Rally the Troupes on Saturday, June 6, 2009

Greetings from Las Vegas, site of the 2009 Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend! It's pretty damn amazing here. I was in the 1st Annual Barecats Invitational Bowling Tournament and chatting with Kellita of the Hot Pink Feathers. I really couldn't come up with a word to describe the sight of so many burlesquers bowling. I could only come up with "interesting." Ha ha. So many costumes! The sights and sounds were just something that you'd have to witness for yourselves.

Speaking of Kellita, the Hot Pink Feathers will be performing this Saturday at Cafe Van Kleef in Burlesque n' Brass with Blue Bone Express. Simone de la Getto will be the guest host!
