Tease-O-Rama is almost upon us, but there's still lots of burlesque to see before then! This week, we have a couple of new kinda shows happening in addition to the regularly scheduled entertainment.
- Monday, September 22: Uptown Hubba Hubba at the Uptown Club in Oakland. The Devil-Ettes, Lady Satan, Sparkly Devil, Kellita and others make this week quite an all-star experience! Doors at 9pm, show at 10. $5 cover, 21+ w/ID.
- Wednesday, September 24: Burlesqueteers at Stagewerx in San Francisco. Your fave B-teers head back to school...and into your dreams. Hehe. Tramp le Monde, Miss Fist, and Trixie make their debuts. Doors at 7pm, show at 8. $12 in advance, $15 at the door. See calendar entry for discount details.
- Thursday, September 25: Kiss Que C'est Variety Show at Amnesia Bar in SF. Bunny Pistol, Lady Satan, Ruby White, Dottie Lux, Honey Penny, and Buzz B join Kiss Que C'est for another all-star experience benefitting Cutter Photozine. Doors at 9pm, show at 10. $8, 21+ w/ID.
- Friday, September 26: Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco. Hosted by Dottie Lux, featuring Cat Rich, Lady Monster, Kentucky Fried Woman and more! Show at 7:30pm. $5-10 sliding scale, 21+ w/ID.
- Saturday, September 27: Twilight Vixen Revue Burlesque Class at Good Vibrations' Polk Street Gallery in SF. Join Penny and Cherry as they teach the basics of burlesque. Wine provided! 8pm. Free.
- Also Saturday: Perverse Cabaret at Fat City in San Francisco. The Diamond Daggers host a Folsom Street Fair kick-off party, featuring Alotta Boutte, Delilah, Kentucky Fried Woman, Anna Conda, King Tuff n'Stuff w/Jukie Sunshine, and others. Doors at 9pm, show at 10:30. $12-20, sliding scale, 21+ w/ID.
