Thrillville and Rock, Strip n' Roll on Thursday, October 29, 2009

Looking at the ole SFBR Burly-Qalandar, it looks like there's two, two noteworthy events happening on Thursday, October 29.

The first is for all you Halloweenie-type movie and burlesque freaks! It's Thrillville's (www.thrillville.net) Halloween Gore 'n' Snorefest with Friends of Burlesque Will the Thrill and Monica Tiki Goddess!

This time, they'll be at the historic Balboa Theater in San Francisco. Oh, and you can see two, two "super sleazy, rock 'n' schlock" cult classic films, Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers (1988) and Zontar: The Thing from Venus! (1966).

You're encouraged to go in costume. Lots of prizes are promised. And, O.M.G! There's gonna be an afterparty across the street from the Balboa at Hockey Haven! How can you resist?

Join Bombshell Betty and Fromagique as they put on a show to help the SF Bay Area performers who are struggling to make ends meet during this deep recession. This Thursday, there will be plenty of burlesque and musical entertainment, plus the first 100 guests will receive a free gift bag from Whole Foods. Hubba Hubba Revue returns to the beautiful 5-1-0 this Monday night with another visit by those brassy Bay Area Troubadours, FROMAGIQUE! And what would a night of the tighest brass in show business be without the slinky, shimmering accompaniment of BOMBSHELL BETTY'S BURLESQUETEERS?
