This Thursday, it looks like the ladies of the beach house are looking for a little help with the rent! So what is the best way to raise a little dough to pay the landlord? Well, put on a burlesque show, of course!

The show will be at El Rio in San Francisco, 3158 Mission Street, and the show will begin at 8 p.m. On the bill will be such talents as Suppositori Spelling, Honey Mahogany, Vera DeVille, Ruby Vixen, Bitter Waitress, AJ Molecular, Gabe Oi, Ava Lanche, and Kitty Von Quim! And providing the groove-inducing sounds will be DJ AtomicPOP!

This Friday, The New Eccentrics and Gabe Oi will be debuting at Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco's Mission District!

Red Hots Burlesque is the city's only weekly burlesque show. The seats up front often go quickly, so you'll want to get there early so you can also see Kiss Me Kate, La Rena Rose, and RHB's own Dottie Lux perform!

The New Eccentrics are a performance and design collective operating since 2007. They are vaudevillians dedicated to creating theatre for a new century: Mythic, Inter-active, Spontaneous and Hilarious! They are currently touring the World's ONLY Pop-Up Book Musical.

Gabe Oi is a perverted genderfucking fag who sweats glitter and giggles rainbows. They are enamored with this crazy sparkly city, and all of the delicious queers who inhabit it, and like to show their appreciation by taking their clothes off on stage.

All classes are open to students of any age or gender who want to shake it on stage or in the bedroom. No previous dance or performance experience is required.

@ El Rio Pastie Making and Tassel Twirling: How do we do it?! Impress and amaze with the art of tassel twirling. In the first hour we will go over the history of tassel twirling and you will make your very own pair of pasties with tassels. No materials fees. Supplies will be provided, but if you have a pair of scissors and/or a hot glue gun; bring it! The second hour of class will teach you those much desired and sought out moves to get those tatas-a-twirlin'! We will go over several different methods and find which option works best for you. Be prepared to wear pasties on your body. The class is a safe and respectful environment where students should feel free to toss their inhibitions aside.

Flabulous 2! Fatter Than Ever! tonight at The African American Art & Culture Complex

This Sunday evening, catch "Flabulous 2! Fatter Than Ever!" at the African American Arts and Culture Complex in San Francisco. Presented by the Bay Area's own Kentucky Fried Woman and Jay Walker, this celebration of the Harlem Renaissance is presented by the Queer Cultural Center and the National Queer Arts Festival. The show will include performances by Bay Area ecdysiasts such as Ruby Vixen, Juicy D. Light, Rubenesque Burlesque, and more!
