Superfun Sexyparty Day celebrated by the Hubba Hubba Revue this Monday, December 27

Saturday was Christmas. Sunday is Boxing Day. And now Monday has been named as a holiday by the Hubba Hubba Revue. This December 27 will be Superfun Sexyparty Day! And what does one do to celebrate this holiday? Why, go to the Hubba Hubba Revue show at the Uptown Nightclub in Oakland, of course!

This Monday, you'll have an opportunity to see the very embodiment of the spirit of Superfun Sexyparty Day: Mynx d'Meanor of Fishnet Follies! Also, see the premiere of the of a new act by the great Scandahoovian hypnotist, Sven Golli! Uff da!

The party will be happening at the Uptown, which is located at 1928 Telegraph Avenue (map). The doors open at 9:00 p.m., and the show starts at 10:00. You don't want to miss out on all of the super fun times and the sexy party, do you?

First Friday Follies for Friday, July 3, 2009

It's now July, and the summer is flying by. It's time for back-to-school! Heh. I was in some Target stores recently and noticed that they've shipped out their patio furniture and replaced them with back-to-school stuff. Now they just need to get those Christmas items out on the floor....

But I'm getting ahead of even the discount stores! It's the beginning of July, which means that it's time for First Friday Follies (www.myspace.com/firstfridayfollies)! The East Bay's very own free burlesque show that coincides with Oakland's Art Murmur (www.oaklandartmurmur.com). Like many cities, Oakland's artists get together and have a night where the galleries are open late and there are all kinds of activities. Towards the end of the evening, the Stork Club hosts First Friday Follies where you can see some of the best burlesque acts in the Bay Area.

The show starts at 9:30...The Stork Club is located at 2330 Telegraph Ave in Oakland. As usual, no cover charge but donations are highly encouraged (and necessary to keep our show runnin'!). We sure hope you can make it! Get there early or you may not be able to see very well!

And Cupcake is not kidding about getting there early. The stage is at ground level, so the first few rows of people standing up will have a decent view of the happenings. Margaret France has been requesting that the first five or six rows of people sit, though, so more people have been able to see the stage. If she forgets, just ask her to make the request!

On Saturday, it's the debut of "Menagerie," which is being presented by Delilah and Devillia de Dallas. They call it a participatory event, so I take it the audience will be involved in the show. And, since the theme of the show is the animal kingdom--and since people are encouraged to come in costume--things could get pretty wild! Rawr!

Red Hots Burlesque Premieres "The Terror of Titty Town" on the West Coast, Friday, July 11, 2008

Oh boy! We finally get to see "The Terror of Titty Town," which stars some of our very own burlesque celebrities, such as Sparkly Devil, Honey Le Bang, Lady Satan, Kitten on the Keys, Scotty the Blue Bunny, and Dottie Lux.

Here is the official description of the premiere and party:

NYC turned San Fran filmmakers Lux Killmore Entertainment have just wrapped post-production for their new gore-rific, demented, sinfully sexy short, The Terror of Titty Town!

A blood-soaked, fuel-injected, high-speed ride through the underside of San Francisco, The Terror of Titty Town shows you what happens when one women decides to accent her bustline – with implants straight from hell!

The ensemble cast features: Miss Exotic World 2008 finalist Sparkly Devil; internationally renown emcee Kitten on the Keys; NYC star of the stage and recent SF transplant Scotty the Blue Bunny; and the twisted and talented mastermind behind Shadow Circus Creature Theatre, Dave Haaz Baroque, who also produced the films puppetry and prosthetics. Rounding out the cast is a bevy of burlesque beauties: Dottie Lux, Ruby White, Lady Satan and Miss Bella Trixx.

The film was shot in HD and edited by gore-maestro Eddie Granillo of Keptone Filmz.

The Terror of Titty Town is written and directed by VAL KILLMORE
