Catch the cast of Livid Cult Burlesque Theatre at the Hubba Hubba Revue show tonight at the Uptown Club in Oakland.

Dorian Faust, Juicy D. Light, Sgt. Die Wies, The Empress, Elyse Elaine, Mojo DeVille, and Lizzie Strata will be bring their talents to the Uptown stage.

The Uptown is located at 1928 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland (map), which is a short walk from the 19th Street Oakland BART station. The doors open at 9:00 p.m., and the show starts at 10:15. And at 9:45 p.m., the Devil-Ettes will be giving a teaser of the upcoming Tease-O-Rama in San Francisco in April! It's all still just $5.00, too!

Livid Cult Burlesque Theatre presents "Walking Dead Sexy" at Vitus in Oakland tonight

The Livid Cult Burlesque Theatre will tease your brains out with "Walking Dead Sexy: A Burlesque Tribute to Comic Books and the Zombie Apocalypse" this Saturday night in Oakland at Vitus!

With the Image Expo happening in Oakland this weekend, there are sure to be tons of fans of The Living Dead around and about. So what goes together like zombies and brains? Comic fans and burlesque!

The show will be happening at Vitus, which is located at 201 Broadway in Oakland (map). The doors open at 9:00 p.m., and the show starts at 10:00 p.m. Note that this is after the Image Expo ends for the day. Tickets are $10.00 to $15.00, and may be purchased online at www.vitusoakland.com. All attendees, including zombies, need to be 21 or older to attend.

"Known as “The San Francisco Cutie with More Curves Than Lombard Street!” classic burlesque performer Kiss Me Kate is a vital part of the Bay Area burlesque community. From a very young age she could be found on stage in musicals, plays, and even the occasional opera. For the last four years Kiss Me Kate has been a core contributor — both on stage and off — to San Francisco’s Hubba Hubba Revue, voted one of the top burlesque shows in the world by the Travel Channel. She was the featured performer in November 2011 at Red Hots Burlesque, and can often be found wowing crowds at shows throughout the Bay Area.
